This music is achingly beautiful. Will the soundtracks be released either independently or with the game? Right now I keep replaying the trailer on my iPod just to hear Bottom on the go, hope there’ll be a better solution soon. Also, I’d be interested to know what other work Tomas has done.

the space in this music gives the listener room to think about the thoughts they’re currently thinking. it definitely matches with the game and by its self makes for some interesting feelings.

yes, soundtrack is going to be released with the game as mp3 release {more like 50 minutes of the music} / if it is bought from the machinarium website. also it is going to be included in the boxed versions, as cd release.

oh wowza! i deeply approve of these new tracks. they affirm the viscosity of my menial existence. will there be ways and such to get these tracks down the road? i preordered the game and such but these dont seem to be in the digital fruit basket i was sent. perty please say things will work out for the best? and by that i mean please release a sound track and for gods sake put some clothes on!

PS- how is that beautiful artwork done for this game? is it like pencil sketches that are digitally colored or what? crazyness.

I pre-ordered this off Steam as soon as I saw it there, but I’ve just seen the review at Rock Paper Shotgun and discovered I could have got the soundtrack if I’d ordered here. Oh no! Are there any plans to make the soundtrack available to people who bought elsewhere?

Hello, I’ve played the whole game in an expectation of playing another scene with Mr. Handagote in the background. But un faithfully, just like any other tunes in the game it can only be listened in only one scene. I have a question, the version of the song you’ve published here is a little bit different than the one played in the game, will you be adding that version of the song in the full soundtrack too? I think it’s a bit more sensational and preferable. Thank you!

I must, of course, agree with my fellow gamers on this. Your tracks are such a treat, one can’t but love them. Truely much heart has gone into those wonderful tracks, how whilst obviously being digital sound so organic and sweet.

It deserves to be nominated for Best Score Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media at the 2010 Grammy Awards. No kidding!

I bought the soundtrack and got a little dissapointed as the song from when you are on the outside elevetor that you have to fuel with oil wasn’t on it. I changed the file ending on 10000000.001 to .mp3 and it was that song, so i can listen to it anyway and i got a lot of other good tracks on the album i bought /

I played Samorost 1 and 2 and Machinarium and there are similar things: each screen is perfectly drawed, you can see every detail, the atmosphere is amazing with this music. Machinarium is one of my most favourite games. I hope that Amanita will make next Samorost and Machinarium 2.

I love this game and its music.

Sometimes I just did nothing in the game, listening to the music, mr. Dvorak is a very talented composer. It has been a tough assignment to create a soundtrack for an inanimate world that would however still have life. Excellent job!

machinarium is one of the best click n’ point games i’ve ever played..sound, design and the riddles are amazing and match perfectly! Mr Handagote, The Glasshouse With Butterfly and The Street Musicians is some really good stuff, it goes directly to the heart.

Machinarium Soundtrack is same the WALL.E movie and i think it’s effected by WALL.E Sound but it’s very good

Mr. Handagote is such a breathtaking piece of music! While playing Machinarium I stayed in that level for hours just contemplating the incredible drawings and listening to the music.

I played Glasshouse with Butterfly at my mothers funeral 2010

As many other people here I caught myself looking at the very beautiful artwork and listening to the dreamlike soundtrack of Machinarium instead of playing the game. I am working as a dj at a hotel, playing so called chill-out music (allthought I dont like these typical “lounge”-tunes, so I try to play stuff beyond buddhabar…) and I find most of the machinarium tunes just perfect to generate a relaxed, dreamy but not boaring athmosphere. I really would like to gratulate and thank Tomáš Dvořák for his great work!
