we have fixed several bugs in the game – here’s the patch01 which will update your full version:
Instructions for Mac users:
1) open Machinarium folder.
2) rewrite old Machinarium.app file with the one from the patch.
3) open folder 00 and rewrite all older files with the new ones from the patch.
4) open folder 10 and rewrite all older files with the new ones from the patch.
IMPORTANT NOTE: don’ t replace the whole directories but always open it and update the files manually.

If you have lost your save slots in Machinarium after the restart you should try these steps:
- Right-click on the screen to get to the Adobe Flash Player Settings Tabs, select the little folder icon and make sure the slider is NOT set to none! You need at least 100 KB.
- If you use CCleaner you need to exclude the save directory:
1. Open ccleaner.
2. Options
3. “Exclude”
4. Add Folder
5. Search the save path, eg C:\Users{USERNAME}\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\{RANDOMWORD}\localhost\Program Files\Machinarium\machinarium.exe
check if the box is in | *.* |
6. Accept
5. Ready now can use ccleaner and do not erase your saved game.
- If you use BetterPrivacy addon for Firefox you need to change its settings:
With Machinarium running, switch to a Firefox session. Open up Better Privacy’s options. In its “LSO Manager” tab, you will see an entry for machinarium.exe. Highlight the entry and hit the “Prevent Automatic LSO Deletion” button. Better Privacy will now leave Machinarium’s Flash settings alone, but continue to sweep away the bad stuff.

Everybody who pre-ordered Machinarium on our website can activate the game on Steam with their order number. It’s not possible to activate the game purchased after the release (Oct 16).
We were asked if it’s possible to give you MD5 checksums of the files from pre-order release so here it is:

For those who doesn’t know what it means: it may be useful if you want to check that your download was correct and also for people who are downloading our files from “different unofficial” sources that the files are unmodified.
The Machinarium Soundtrack is included in the game, if you buy it directly on our website. If you buy game on services like Steam the soundtrack is not included but it is still possible to get it if you are interested. Please check the website in week or subscribe to Floex mailing list to let you know, when it is available.

It is maybe good to point out, that the music is not totally the same as in the game. It was carefully re-mixed and mastered for the purposes of the “standalone soundtrack”. Moreover some songs were rearranged to work on its own…
There are not all the songs on the soundtrack, because i felt some songs didn’t fit to the general mood and the flow of the album – so i decided to omit them.
Good new is that we are planning small bonus album EP with 5 extra songs for free download including the one with the robot band, pipe wrench dubstep, or the song from the lift by the wall… so please stay tuned!

We do apologize to all of our customers who pre-ordered tha game on our website and still don’t have the game. We wanted to send the email with the download links earlier but it wasn’t possible for some technical reasons, now we have another problem – totally overloaded server. So if you are unable to download it, please try it in a few hours or during the upcoming weekend. We are really sorry for the troubles!
We are going to launch new Machinarium website with web demo and the full game available for purchase in a few hours. Hopefully the server won’t crash:) However It’s possible it will be slow for some time, so please be patient.
If you have pre-ordered the game you should get an email with the download links during Friday (Oct 16), please check your spam box if you won’t receive it and if you won’t have your email by Sunday you should contact us.
