Wow great video, reminds me of the free runner machinima (valve-based, white shapes, and the progonist died!). Well, good job.

@AbstractCloud (sort of) wrote: “and the protagonist died”

But did he? It’s left as a mystery as to whether Josef or his girlfriend are really dead. We hear “her voice” in the last second before the credits roll. Maybe they both live on in “Android Hell” bereft of color and shape? ;-)

Dunno, if they did (it’s a music video, they switch situations), the voice is the music (actually it’s a voice from a video game called Portal edited to be music) and where did you hear that Josef was his name? No offesense if that is what you call him.

AbstractCloud asked: > where did you hear that Josef was his name?

“in Jakub’s own words, ‘He’s named after Josef Capek – Czech painter and initial inventor of the word robot’” [ http://resolution-magazine.co.uk/content/hands-on-machinarium/ ]

Thanks for the information, I like Amanita Design’s games and animations and have a YouTube channel under the same name which currently has Machinarium has the main attraction.
