Thanks again to everybody who supported us! Almost 20.000 units was sold during the event from Aug 5 to 16 and we are very pleased with that number.

Thanks to everyone who bought the game, no matter if it was during the sale or before, no matter if you pirated it before or not. The sale has gone so well that we have decided to extend it for a few more days and also reveal some stats. You can pick up Machinarium for just $5 until Monday Aug 16th, then it will return to it’s regular price of $20.
More than 17.000 copies has been sold during one week.

We released the game DRM free which means it doesn’t include any anti-piracy protection, therefore the game doesn’t bother players with any serial codes or online authentication, but it’s also very easy to copy it. Our estimate from the feedback is that only 5-15% of Machinarium players actually paid for the game. If you decide to buy the game, you can be sure you’ll support directly the developers, not any big publisher or distributor.
