Osada is an interactive music video created by our animator Václav Blín, featuring Czech psychedelic country music composed and recorded by our friend Šimon Ornest. The whole project is online for free or you can also download its offline version with slightly better music quality for mere $2. Go play it now and then let us know what you think please:)

April 4, 2011Very, very… strange :D
I appreciate the music, really, but the game left me a weird impression.
Especially loved the scene/music in the train, with the three cow-girls :)

April 5, 2011It… It… Awesome! =) I very much liked this musical video! Especially music/scene with train! =) Very much I wait for Botanicula, it would be desirable to see at least small gameplay-video. =) Thanks you for everything that you do, Amanita Design. Спасибо ещё раз! =)

April 5, 2011I could swear I saw that Indian with pipe somewhere… Is he smoking same stuff in Samorost? Speaking of which – well, this interactive animation is quite acidic/green/whatever you take ;)
And music is really great!
Thanks for that, and keep working. You are so talented, sensitive and hard-working people!

April 5, 2011Very Impressive, very interesting.
Awesome Music, couldn’t believe how good it was.
Loved the opening scene. The wolves howling at the moon was cool too.
The moment that the train sequence kicked off was thrilling, with the lumberjack jumping into a shootout.
I think I liked the three cowgirls on the train the best.
The guy’s face that growled at you was awesome, especially with headphones. It was cool how it seemed like it was going to be a duel with the split screens, but turned into a ping pong match.
I liked the idea of the raft ride, but I didn’t like having to wait a pre-determined amount of time for each tent to finish it’s music. I’d rather just click at will past each one.
Come to think of it, this game works like an episode of Mr. Show. All the scenes transition to a totally different scenario by some loose connection. The more you play, the more you notice the connections.
This thing worked best when it had momentum, but was a blast regardless.

April 16, 2011Nice. I am not overhelmed – it is not Machinarium, Samorost or Wuest for rest, yet it is funny enough for one evening, and in Your typical surrealistic feel.
Waiting for Samorost 3

April 17, 2011Wow! I really liked the beginning with the cowboys sitting around the fire. I also liked the twitchy face and the ping pong match. You’re very good at transitioning photograph faces to animated faces. Good work, and I can’t wait for Samorost three or the one with the little animals (can’t quite remember the name right now).

September 19, 2011Very nice, although i got a glitch at the first train scene, when the shooting is starting, i let it play for about a minute and when i clicked at the gun and the animation played and went to the next scene, the audio from the bang of the weapon (from the previous scene) continued to play.this isn’t the first time i view the video, and its the first time this bug occur to me.keep the good work
