It’s starting to be a bit boring to test Machinarium on iPad over and over again, but the good news is the game is almost finished and ready for submitting!
Surprisingly David looks still quite fresh after working on the port 12 or more hours a day for the last 2 months…

I already bought the Mac version, but my iPad needs it, too. In other words, I’m buying it for sure. :)
Cheers!

August 23, 2011Hello I bought the first Machinarium game today and it looks fantastic but I’ve come across some things that look like bugs. Ok 3rd screen where you have a a container on the tracks after you pull the lever. I’ve followed the walkthrough exactly as it is in the book and the youtube, after I have droped the yellow thing on the tracks I pull the lever and the container goes along the track and hits the yellow thing, and goes over the edge instead of landing so I can remove the wheels. 9 times out of 10 it goes over the edge. The final step in Fourth screen where you have the crane pick the robot up the second time and refuses to send the robot through the chute in the top right of the screen. Same situation, followed the walkthroughs from the book and the youtube, complete with changing the wires and the levers but it refuses to send the robot through the chute. downloaded patch 1 & 2. please help.

August 23, 2011thankyou alex, I realize this is probably the wrong place to post this. I reinstalled the game and reinstalled patch 1 & 2. I followed the instructuctions from the walkthrough from that link, I followed the walkthrough in the book that comes with the game and did exactly what the guy did on the youtube walkhrough. on level 3 Valley Trench the cart goes along the track hits the yellow knife thingy and instead of crashing so I can get the wheels from the cart, it goes over the edge instead.

August 28, 2011Dear Simon,
there are TWO trails on the track. Hope that helps you. But you should’ve really put more effort into finding the solution yourself. This problem is quite notorious and if you actually tried to search the official forum, you would find the answer in no time.

January 4, 2013Loved this Machinarium game – the graphics are so unique and the puzzles are extremely challenging; mainly because some are not very intuitive – I cannot wait for the next game, you have me hooked
