April 5, 2012On Amazon the retail version only states Win/Mac as supported platforms. I know the game will be published for Linux too – but why isn’t the Linux Version included in the retail box? Or is it? ;)
(I’d really like to have a box but I don’t want to pay twice just because I’m using Linux.)

April 7, 2012Is Mac or multiplatform pre-order available? I found only Windows-only pre-order on GOG. Thanks.

April 7, 2012Anybody knows, if game is bought from this site, it will not include extras and sketches? Because gog.com offers this )
15. Sen
April 8, 2012I was wondering the same. Is there a preorder for mac with the included extras?
16. IgloopIraMayAa
April 8, 2012Okay, let me clear this up for you guys, GOG.com traditionally has offered older (often DOS based games) carefully updated to run on current operating systems, and only sells games free of DRM, always with bonus goodies thrown in
generally these goodies and extra content are added specifically to the GOG release, looking at Fahrenheit or other newer releases, you see that really the extras seem to be exclusive to the GOG download
but put it this way, buying Botanicula from GOG, will encompass some sort of revenue to go to GOG
as they are the host platform in that case, if you believe in what GOG does and stands for, (keeping classics playable, and no DRM) then buy from there, especially if you want all of those extras
But buying from Amanita directly, sends all of the money their way, I’m sure they will just be happy that you are playing and enjoying their game however, so buy whichever you like :)

April 9, 2012Words cannot describe awesomeness and beauty of this trailer. And this is only the beginning. It reminds me my childhood; hanging out with friends, and playing simple yet beautiful games. Can’t wait to play Botanicula.
juhu!

April 9, 2012I concur, shut up and take my money! ;) Too bad pre-ordering seems to work currently only on GOG which supports only WIndows (and I want all 3 versions)…
19. darnel
April 10, 2012I resolved my problem :) I’ll buy GOG version with bonuses and then 3-platform version from here or somewhere when appears.
20. Ricardo
April 10, 2012Please add the pre-order to Steam, and add steamworks too.

April 14, 2012I concur with comment #6. Many thanks for supporting Linux (!!!), but an explicit statement which operating systems will be available through which distribution channel would be most appreciated.

April 15, 2012I am counting down the days. I remember last time you released a game I scrounged up my meager savings. There were quarters and nickels rolling around in the envelope. ‘TWAS WORTH IT.

May 7, 2012Have come across a glitch in the game . I got to the screen where the group is trying to advance across a stretched bug and a big bug flies in and blocks their way. Now I have the another bug up top in the heading and when I try to bring him down to scare away the flying bug he does nothing. I see it on You Tube the way it is supposed to work but no luck. What am I doing wrong?
