April 19, 2012awesome ! But when will we be able to buy via the website store ? Because I want the soundtrack :D !

April 19, 2012Nice!
Seems a bit unfair to GOG though. This will most certainly stump their sales. I wasn’t considering buying it there personally (lack of Linux support), but this will surely draw away many customers. Especially since GOG.com doesn’t even get the whole soundtrack…

April 19, 2012Will be a demo of Botanicula on Internet?

April 19, 2012You’re a bunch of lowlives for your “use and abuse for publicity and sales” business strategy in relation to GOG and their preorders. You not only hurt their sales, but you helped to rip-off honest people that pre-ordered from there seeing as the people buying the Humble Bundle get the full soundtrack plus more for less money
I can’t believe an Indie developer would stoop so low

April 19, 2012so they’re a bunch of lowlives for supporting charities with their hard work that is being sold for much less than the already low standard price?

April 19, 2012This just smells like a money grab. And it’s one of the only times I felt a bit uneasy after purchasing a bundle/games/sw etc. I really want to support creative people etc.
FWIW I have 4 copies of Machinarium… and without knowing what they did I bought this latest game from the indie bundle. News spread fast and I heard about the pre-sale. WOW… that is a low blow given to both customers and publishers!!!
You can’t just do this sort of things. Sure everything devalues… but WITH TIME!
You don’t do a pre-sale and then punish the early adopters IN DAY 1!!!!!!COME ON!
This is just greedy! Not even EA would do such a move!
If you guys don’t realise that and don’t try to make it better for everyone then I’m sorry for you..
I am know starting to think that you have other motives than what you advertised through your games, vision and public communications until now. I feel tricked into thinking there are people who think differently.
Did some big corp buy you or something? IMO you should fire your sales department ASAP
Also what where Humble Bundle thinking? War on GOG?

April 19, 2012hello,
i just want to state here how i love you and everything in the bundle is great, BUT i have to concur that proposing something at such a low price somewhere, and at the same time at a much more normal price elsewhere, disregarding to inform all of your partners, might be prejudicable to them. It will undoubtedly harm your reputation, and i can see your reasoning behind this and how it was not malevolent, but it was, imho, a half unwise move.
though the words of shane-o are irrelevant. You’re great, keep doing great things.

April 19, 2012I need to also repeat that I love your creations so much!
This is the reason that I am upset. A move like this will hurt you really bad.
A LOT OF P.R. and BUSSINES R. DAMAGE IS ALREADY DONE DO SOMETHING ASAP!
Just offer something unique… figure something out and fast.
I need to repeat that this is not about the money as I payed almost same as the preorder..
…it’s about the attitude.
Don’t devalue your stuff from day one… or if you do it don’t involve anyone else BUT the publisher you want to do it with.
We need you guys to stay around… be what you advertise you are!

April 24, 2012Congratulations to a wonderful game! It cost me some sleep, though, I had to play through the night until I it was finished. Getting up early the next morning was hard. :-)
I loved the changes in mood, from mostly harmless at the beginning to the darker places later in the game. I’m already looking forward to what you will be doing next!

April 24, 2012Absolutely some of your best work here guys. Gorgeous art and music, and such a great story line with so many brilliant characters! Along with machinarium it’s one of my top favorite game all time.

April 25, 2012Great game, me and my son liked it just as much as Machinarium and Samorost. I hope what I paid for the Humblebundle was a fair price ( well above their average ), and Kooky was a nice addition to the game. I especially liked the whole tree / universe theme ( which is not really there in Machinarium ). I did not think the game was too easy or too hard – for me and my kid the balance proved to be just right. Loved the reference to Samorost in the game :) It was not too short or too long either, it took us a few evenings to get through without rushing it. Some final scenes were great in their own way, dark and a bit surreal.
I reckon it is art, just wish it would scale up to fit better on a larger screen in full screen mode ( to appreciate it more ). I had no major issues running it in Linux and I have never used Adobe Air before ( did not have to run a single command for that either ). It would probably look totally awesome on a tablet.
Overall it is a pretty amazing game, I hope there will be a sequel sometime .. but first will have to play Machinarium 2 :)

April 25, 2012Another vote to port Botanicula and Samorost to the iPad. My kids love Machinarium and want to play more of your games.

April 28, 2012I can’t believe how amazing this game is! Definitely one of the best, if not THE best, adventure games I’ve played in the past 5 years. Thank you!
