Machinarium for PS3 is the best version of the game so far (we call it the Ultimate Edition), featuring many improvements like zoom, magnetic hotspots, trophies and more.
The price is 7.99€ / £6.49 and it’s free for Playstation Plus subscribers now! The game will be soon released also in USA and other territories. VITA version is in the works but it’s not confirmed yet.

September 7, 2012Would really have liked Move support for this game and Full screen.

I had thought that there was move support? Is there not?
& The game i’m sure is as full screen as the resolution allows, it should be just as if you were using a 1920×1080 resolution PC screen, still decently sized, especially on the big living room screen

September 7, 2012Hi, any plan to release on Windows 8 Store. Please, with ARM support! Thanks.

September 8, 2012The game plays fantastic on a big screen, thanks!!

September 8, 2012The PS3 game is full-screen 1080p with a little border to fit Machinarium’s unusual native aspect ratio and to fulfill the “safe-borders” requirement. The Move controller has been removed, the standard Dualshock/Sixaxis controller is much better and preferred control option.

Originally their plans were to release the game on Xbox Live Arcade, but their talks with Microsoft didn’t go well
Microsoft won’t allow them to publish their own game without a third party publisher involved. Which wouldn’t make sense for them to do. So they were unable to make way with the xbox. Sony just has a more open system.
I’m not Amanita Design, but wait & see how well it does on PSN shop, Microsfot just may change their tune, perhaps too late. It is a lot of work to port these games to console.

Zbývá mi ale otázka. Dočkáme se i Botaniculy? A jestliže ano, tak kdy?

September 11, 2012I have just subscribed to a Playstation plus account and saw this game for free download. The artwork intrigued me so I decided to give it a go. I had no idea it was a point and click adventure and forgot how satisfying and sometimes frustrating they were (of course the Monkey Island series being the main culprits). There were a couple of parts where I was pulling my hair out, but absolutely worth the baldness. The idea to use symbology and animations in speech bubbles breaks language barriers, so hopefully every corner of the world will get to play the robo-hero. Enough arse kissing, what Ireally want to know is will we see more in this series, and will there be more releases for the Playstation 3?

October 3, 2012Hi,
I need help!!!
Bought the game over PSN for my girlfriend, she used some crank handle on the wrong item and then it got stuck!
When she reloaded the crank handle was completely gone!
Now she’s really frustrated and thinks about to restart the game from beginning…
I googled the problem and I found out that there has been a similarly on the PC a long time ago and it got patched.
The PSN-version was released just some weeks ago and it shouldn’t have this bug should it?
