Kooky is on iTunes finally!
“Kooky” Released on iBooks
This is an English version of the book written by Jan Svěrák and illustrated by Jakub Dvorský based on the feature film Kooky by the same authors. The book includes 15 full-page colour illustrations, 83 pen-and-ink drawings and the map. You can read it on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. Go to iBooks Store and search for Kooky.

The book was written by Jan Svěrák and illustrated by Jakub Dvorský. The story is the same as in the feature film Kooky by the same authors. The book includes 150 pages, 15 full-page colour illustrations and 83 pen-and-ink drawings.

Kooky (English Version)
New trailer for feature film Kooky (Kuky se vrací) is ready. This time finally in English language. The whole film was dubbed into English (deliberately mostly by Czech actors) and will be presented for the first time to the international distributors at the upcoming European Film Market in Berlin during Berlinale Film Festival in February 2011. “Kuky se vrací” Book
The fature film Kuky se vrací (Kooky) has also it’s book version written by Jan Svěrák (the director of the original film) and illustrated by Jakub Dvorský (the designer of the puppets and props of the film). Official book launch was on Thursday June 10 and it’s available in every bookstore in Czech Republic and for ordering. Also English version is in the works and should be available later this year in the form of classic paper book and e-book.

KOOKY (Kuky se vrací) is a combined puppet and live action feature based on a child’s fantasy. A seven year old boy whose teddy bear Kooky has been thrown away wonders what his toy is up to in the big world out there, imagining Kooky as he tries to find his way back home. The film was written and directed by Oscar winning director Jan Svěrák and production design was created by Jakub Dvorský (Amanita Design). The release will be on May 20, 2010 in Czech cinemas.
