Machinarium Now Available for Android Tablets

Amanita Design and Hothead Games have partnered to announce the launch of Machinarium for Android, including Google Play, Amazon’s Kindle Fire and the NOOK App™ store.

Machinarium isavailable now on Google Play, and will be released this week on Barnes & Noble’s critically acclaimed NOOK Tablet™ and NOOK Color™, both versions priced $3.99. The game will also be available through the Amazon Appstore for Kindle Fire later this month.

The game is compatible with Android tablet devices, and a selection of large-screen Android phones. Please check Google Play Store for details.

Botanicula Soundtrack Vinyl Edition

The cooperation between Minority Records and Amanita Design goes on!
This time by releasing Botanicula Soundtrack.

Botanicula Soundtrack is released on 12″LP in edition of 1000 copies,
whilst 300 copies are on turquoise vinyl, 300 copies on amber vinyl and
400 copies on standard black. Each copy features three large format
inserts [30x30 cm] with art reproductions by Jaromír Plachý, author of
the game artwork, and as always, a coupon with a code to download
MP3/FLAC versions of the album.

Preorder of the vinyl is available on Minority Records website and album
ships May 24th. Digital version of the album in both MP3 and FLAC
formats will be released on May 24th via Minority Records and other
distribution channels like iTunes, Boomkat, Rhapsody, Spotify, Google
Music etc.

DVA released their debut album Fonók (Indies Scope Records, 2008), that

gained attention of music critics abroad. BBC’s front music critic,
Charlie Gillett, ranked this album among the best albums of 2009, Fonók
which contains fourteen compositions reached #34 in the respected WCME
charts. In March 2012 DVA played live at SXSW festival in Texas and in
addition to this, won the 14th annual awards in ‘Excellence in Audio’ at
Independent Games Festival for soundtrack to computer game Botanicula.

We are happy to report that funds raised from the Humble Botanicula Debut have already saved more than 1000 acres of critically threatened habitats. John Burton, CEO of the World Land Trust has said of the collaboration:
“I am writing this while I am on a field visit to Paraguay where the threats to their forests and other wilderness are staring me in the face. To get news of this fantastic success is very exciting and I congratulate Amanita Design on this stunning initiative. It is both encouraging and inspiring to see individuals from completely different backgrounds using their talents and innovation to really make a difference to saving the natural world. In the case of Botanicula, this difference is already a very significant one and we are looking forward to using the funds to save real acres in Mexico, Guatemala, Ecuador and Colombia where we can save One Acre for £100”.

Apology to Botanicula pre-orderers

We want to apologize to everybody who pre-ordered Botanicula on GOG.com and GamersGate and now is upset because there’s a bundle for any price. We haven’t much time to take care about business and logistics in last few weeks because we were hard at work on the game fixing hundreads of bugs etc. so we made a mistake and let GOG and GG make pre-orders. We simply didn’t think about it and about the consequences, sorry for that. All the pre-orderers should receive some free bonus stuff from GOG and GG in upcoming hours or days. The bonus bundle will include Machinarium, full Botanicula Soundtrack and Botanicula art book which wasn’t released anywhere else yet. I hope it’s not that terrible deal for $9 you paid to support us so we can continue making independent games, we are very grateful for that!
