SOLVED: Went down elevator second time and trapped

I accidentally went down the elevator a second time and am now trapped. The girl in the kitchen has no corn, nor coil in the ceiling and no tube. How to I power the elevator to go up again?

Dear friend:
there are 2 points:
1. When down elevator any time, simply repeat what you did in the first time.
2. In fact you went to the elevator again because you tried to jump into the empty tank again. there is an easier way to give the batteries to the big guy at the broken bridge: go down the stairs to the left of the empty tank and climp the same pipe you slid down before!

Me too - went back down after getting all the kitchen help and am stuck! Read other link as well and seem to glean that perhaps it's because the engine got turned off? We re-do the puzzle, even get the lever pop out with up and down arrows, but no response when selected either way. Is there any way to re-start the engine after already doing it once?

No response because the thing needs oil (yes, again). Have the girlfriend attach the hose (which she has in her inventory) again.
